Since The Reading League’s inception nearly a decade ago, awareness of what is now commonly referred to as ‘the science of reading’ has increased dramatically. This is excellent news. When teachers, school leaders, policymakers, professors, families, communities, publishers, and other stakeholders become aware of the research evidence related to reading acquisition that has been accumulating over the last 60+ years, students stand to benefit more from its understanding and use. However, as awareness of the science of reading grows, so does the potential for incomplete understandings and sub-optimal (though well-intended) use.
This five-session video bundle includes the keynote session and four panel sessions presented at The Reading League Summit in Chicago, IL, in March 2025.
